Japan Blue Jeans OSAKA / FUKUOKA — New Stores Opening March 2026

"Japan Blue Jeans" brings together the traditional craftsmanship of Kojima, Okayama and modern cutting-edge technology to propose a new value of "Japan denim."

To strengthen the brand's global presence, we are opening new stores in two cities: Osaka and Fukuoka.

As a new touchpoint that embodies the brand world renewed in September 2025, "Japan Blue Jeans OSAKA" will open in Umeda, Osaka on Thursday, March 5, 2026.

Following this, "Japan Blue Jeans FUKUOKA" will open in Daimyo, Fukuoka — a leading gateway to Asia — on an auspicious day in the same month of March.

With these two new locations, we will share the value of Japan denim with the world.

■A space that embodies the brand

Kojima, Okayama is home to traditional heavyweight-fabric sewing techniques, innovative weaving, and hand-finishing craftsmanship.

Even within the same indigo blue, the distinctive hues born from each artisan's process create an incomparable presence.

At both the Osaka and Fukuoka locations, the jeans themselves function as part of the interior "setting." Natural materials, silver mirror finishes, and yakisugi (charred cedar) come together to express the harmony of the cutting-edge and the traditional.

By incorporating imperfection and the passage of time, the spaces resonate with a wabi-sabi worldview.

OSAKA features unpainted equipment that suggests the factory production process, while FUKUOKA uses a cracking mortar floor as its finish — imperfect expressions placed throughout the space.

The result: stores that evoke the shared ground between jeans — where age is worn with pride — and Japanese culture, which finds beauty in wabi-sabi.
